Hi, today will be the deadline of our moral studies project, so we're here to sum this whole thing Basically, from moral point of view, piracy is a bad thing as when we support piracy, we're regarded as "stealing" from the rightful owner as well as cheating off their loyalties and hard work.

In the religious point of view, stealing is regarded as a sin, therefore piracy is regarded as a sin as well. But somehow, on the other point of view, based on egoism, which is a teleological theory of ethics that sets as its goal the benefit, pleasure, or greatest good of oneself alone, piracy is supported by many people as it is cheap, and yet we get the same thing as the genuine for some products.

By looking on the article "Piracy: A good or bad thing" written by Audrey Lim, we can see the benefits of piracy provides to us. But at the end, standing at moral point of view, we as a civilian who obey rules and regulations set by the country must not support piracy by any means.

Our Drama Assignment

All of our group members took part in the drama. For example:

• Chin Chun Hau, the young teenager
• Bernard Huang, the young teenager's best friend
• Wong Kuang Yang, the young teenager's father
• Joyceanne Hong, the young teenager's mother
• Liew Zia Fang, the lecturer

Our task assignment is to create a short drama based on the given theme, "Life in My Hand". When given this assignment, we took the oppurtunity to perform a drama. This short drama is elaborating about a young teenager who is borned in a rich family. His parent always bought valueble items for his son, Chunhau. However, ChunHau's attitude became more badly after being influenced by his best friend, Bernard. Bernard brought ChunHau to Pub and teaching him things that are not good.

Since then, ChunHau had been falling asleep in class everytime because he went out with Bernard till late at night and did not listen to what the leacturers are teaching. Sooner, Chunhau ignored his study and got very bad result for his examination. The lecturer scolded Chunhau but he did listen to him either. His parent also scolded and gave many advises to Chunhau in order to change his attitude. Chunhau's father got heart attack after scolding him and went into koma.

Chunhau regretted for what he had caused and promissed his parent that he will change his attitude and work hard to improve his study while the next examinations are coming soon too. When invited by Bernard to join him to go to pub for drinks, Chunhau rejected his invitation. After the examination, Chunhau had finally got good results for it and the lecturer congratulated him.

So, a lesson that we can learn from this drama is that no matter what we do, we can always change to the way we wanted as the life is in our own hand. Therefore, we should think twice before doing something in order not to make our life miserable.
